this body of work exhibits the complexities of a gay interracial relationship in a city that never sleeps. Where heartbreak is universal, the miniscule parts that lead to the end of a relationship differs from people to people. FUCK YOU, I HATE YOU, I LOVE YOU, exposes the vulnerable parts of unhealthy relationships, behaviors, and thought processes. The artwork shown offers an insight to the internal psyche of two destructive opposites madly in love, in the hot, never sleeping, Sin City. How does our personal history shape the type of relationships we cultivate? At what point does love turn into obsession, comfort.... betrayal? Azul aims to explore these questions through their personal experience, as they navigate memories from a tumultuous, four-year relationship.
