this body of work exhibits the complexities of a gay interracial relationship in a city that never sleeps. FUCK YOU, I HATE YOU, I LOVE YOU, exposes the vulnerable parts of unhealthy relationships, behaviors, and thought processes within queer culture, cultural norms, and abusive relationships. the artwork shown offers an insight to the internal psyche of two destructive opposites madly in love, in the hot, never sleeping, Sin City swallowed in transit hookup enviornments. how does our personal history shape the type of relationships we cultivate? at what point does love turn into obsession, comfort.... betrayal? azul aims to explore these questions through their personal experience, as they navigate memories from a long tumultuous relationship.A POSTER, BECAUSE BREAKING UP IS that DRAMATIC.
