Azul is a Las Vegas-based artist whose influences include Italian Renaissance figuration and Indigenous ideologies and beliefs. Their paintings, drawings, and performances illuminate personal themes that vary from unnatural behavior processes, such as destructive coping mechanisms in abusive relationships, to the parallels between sociopathic and trauma response behaviors. They received a BFA from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada in 2026. Azul’s work has appeared in art galleries throughout Las Vegas, including The Lab, Rotunda Gallery, Winchester-Dondero Cultural Center Gallery, ARTSpace, and Lulu Art House.
